Our Mooring Systems

Mooring is the most important and delicate part of the whole aquaculture system.
Knowing the specific environmental conditions of the installation is essential to adapt the entire system to the different needs of the places. Starting from a standard model of reliable and resistant mooring system, Ad.Aq. develops the supply proposal based on the calculation of the stresses to which the mooring system will be predictably subjected.

Ad.Aq. has always stood out in the supply of complex mooring systems, consisting of anchor / dead body, chain / rope / sash, buoy. The most resistant materials, the study for a correct positioning, breaking loads that guarantee the life of your system even in case of intense and sudden storm surges.

The mooring system is composed of 4 fundamental elements: anchorage, connecting element, buoy and mooring greed.

• The anchoring system is studied and supplied according to the customer’s needs with proper anchors or, more rarely, with dead bodies. The anchors of the “SAND ANCHOR” series projected by Ad.Aq. are designed for sandy and muddy bottoms while for the rocky bottoms we offer movable bar anchors.
• The connection is generally made with the use of a chain + thimble rope.
• The mooring buoys are an essential component of every aquaculture system. We provide the “JUMPER FP” line (800/1200/1500/2000/2600) with different types of attachment to the mooring line, that are produced with armor in full PEHD.
• In the HPES and HPU line the buoys are offered with thrusts from 250 to 1600 liters and mixed construction with floating body in Polyethylene, filling in Polistyrene and / or Polyurethane and reinforcement in galvanized iron.
